Mobile office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation attorney preferably with 2+ years of litigation experience. The candidate will prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements. Will conduct legal research. Prepare legal memoranda. Prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings. Assist other attorneys in preparing for and taking depositions. Analyze conflicts in legal matters. Advise clients on solutions and engage in regular communication with clients. Negotiate on behalf of clients. Communicate with senior associates, partners, paralegals, and secretaries to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is readily available for other attorneys. Study and learn each client's file in its entirety so that assistance can be provided on every issue that arises during the course of a client's matter or lawsuit. Ensure all court and administrative agency deadlines are met. Must be licensed by the Alabama or Tennessee State Bar Association. Should have excellent academic credentials. Must have strong research and writing skills. Completion of a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school is essential.
