Senior Litigation Attorney:

The Las Vegas Law firm of Saltzman Mugan Dushoff PLLC is looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team.  The firm has prominent practices in corporate, transactional, business licensing and financial institution representation with a particular emphasis on clients interacting with state and local agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a portable book of business worth $300,000 -$500,000 and a desire to join an established office that can provide staff support and business development opportunities.  The candidate must have strong communication and administrative skills and be able to represent the firm in ways to maintain our earned integrity.

The Firm’s compensation plan rewards both personal productivity and client origination and is ideal for an attorney wishing to monetize an established practice.

Qualified candidates will have represented matters from inception through trial and include experience with administrative hearings and mediation.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Minimum 10+ years of litigation experience in state and federal courts.
• Able to handle litigation matters from inception through trial with no supervision.
• Ability to direct associate attorneys and paralegals.
• Experience drafting complex litigation pleadings and motions.
• Must be able to effectively argue and win motions, discovery, and dispositive motions.
• Formulate and develop case strategy from inception through settlement or trial.
• Advise clients on risk mitigation and pre-suit resolution options.
• Perform complex legal research and familiarity with new litigation technology products.

Qualifications:

• J.D. Degree and licensed in Nevada
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Courtroom experience
• Ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis
