Humana is looking for a self-motivated individual for our Sr. Data Visualization Engineer role. We need someone that has a passion for analyzing data, and creating Visualizations that help tell the story behind the data. We have a collaborative and dynamic Visualization team that support all levels of business and management. Responsibilities

What we need you help us with!

Build user interfaces, visualizations, and data algorithms while taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights and ultimately enable them to make the better business decisions.

Will work closely with stakeholders to perform data analytics and write software as well as assists in the development of our cloud based analytics platform.

Builds interactive visualizations and front end software applications for stakeholder engagement.

What you need for success! - Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field or equivalent years of experience in a similar role.

5 years of professional experience performing data analytics and building user interfaces, visualizations, and data algorithms

2 years of experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights

Experience with Power BI and SQL

Work at Home Requirements

Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

What you need to be considered a Superstar! - Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field or equivalent years of experience in a similar role.

Healthcare or managed care experience

Experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as Tableau, SAS, SPSS, QlikView, Hadoop or similar tools

Experience with reporting and creating metrics for management

Experience with data mining, predictive modeling techniques and using data to drive business outcomes and decisions
