Field Marketing Strategist- Chicagoland Area (18005419)DescriptionThe Marketing Strategist is responsible for development and implementation of a local marketing strategy focused on driving sales and building brand awareness. They will work directly with field leaders and directors, local restaurant teams, the national marketing team, and other departments to contribute to our mission of ensuring that better food is accessible to everyone. Responsibilities In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Developing and Implementing a Marketing StrategyWrite and develop a local marketing strategy as an extension of the global marketing platform, inclusive of budget and program calendarWork closely with the national marketing team to communicate updates and changes to the local strategy and programming through various channels, such as social media, public relations, mobile, direct, advertising, research, design, and production team membersExecute events, programs, and partnerships included in the local marketing strategyWork closely with the Field Leadership and Marketing Strategist teams to develop best practices and turn-key strategiesEvaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and contribute to process improvementRestaurant Support and Sales-Building StrategyBuild and maintain a marketing culture in local restaurants and communities through the application of the national marketing strategyDevelop and deliver marketing training for local restaurant teams and field leaders both in-person and remotely Develop and execute promotions and sales-driving programs Support national rollouts, promotions and campaignsAlign efforts with regional team members from other departments including finance, IT, facilities, operations, recruitment, NRO, and trainingDevelop restaurant specific marketing plans and sales goals, and coach restaurant teams on executionAnalyze sales reports and trends to form market strategyProvide support and drive sales for digital commerce (catering/online)Own grassroots, community-centered, and restaurant-specific sales-building and marketing opportunities The ideal candidate will:Have 2-5 years marketing experience or relevant equivalentPossess a B.A./B.S. in Marketing or a related field; or an equivalent in education and experienceProficient in the Microsoft Office SuiteHave flexibility to travel moderately both regionally and nationally and have reliable transportation to accomodate that travelHave the ability to interpret high-level marketing strategy, as well as the design, technical, financial, and operational requirements of marketing programsPossess a strong ability to manage multiple demands and responsibilities, and adapt quickly and effectively to changing needs and expectations.
