Tax Consultant Intern (winter 2024)

The intern will work with diverse and talented teams to help clients analyze the tax effect of complex decisions, reduce overall tax rates, and pursue performance objectives. Collaborate daily with the tax team to perform research and analysis and utilize your consultative skills to turn findings into actionable solutions. Assist with strategic tax planning, including researching tax law and drafting technical memos and opinions and preparing business and individual federal and state income and other tax returns and forms. Should be currently pursuing a JD degree with an undergraduate degree. Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0) is needed. An undergraduate degree in accounting or taxation is preferred. The ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments in a team environment is needed. Relevant work experience (e.g. previous work experience, internships, summer positions) is needed. Bar exam eligibility before beginning full-time employment is needed. Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
