Description
The Preceptor 1 helps create, implement and train processes and programs to ensure the staff and facilities in emerging markets are fully prepared for successful operations. The Preceptor 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.
Responsibilities
The Preceptor 1 collaborates concurrently with Process Team, Tiger Team and Role Based Training Team, Human Resources, Clinical Staff and Leadership of Clinic Operations. Secures needed resources, and establishes/verifies key performance indicators to ensure readiness. Leads the transition to ongoing operational processes. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and collaboration with Market Implementation Team and Market Leadership. This role is a Preceptor role located within a Conviva or CenterWell Market. The ratio of centers is one to ten/fourteen. The Preceptor role supports Medical Assistant, Front Office and Referrals. This role reports to the Regional Operator in the Market is considered 'protected' from working in the roles. This role reviews the skills checklist/core competencies with each new hire as the complete role based training. The Preceptor role reinforces training and will 'audit' staff for effective workflow competencies and will be expected to monitor outcomes. The role focuses on continuous learning for all center associates and acts as a coach/super user.
Required Qualifications:
MA or Clinical Staff Member
Proven interpersonal and clinical skills with the ability to interface and train effectively both internally and externally with a wide range of people including physicians and clinic office staff, including workflows in EMR
Experience with Electronic medical records/EMR and/or Health Information Management/HIM systems
Knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point Presentations in a business setting A high level of engagement and emotional intelligence
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Desired Qualifications:
eClinicalWorks experience strongly preferred
Previous Lead role as an MA or Training core clinic roles in a value based care setting
