Restructuring Paralegal
The candidate will work side by side with lawyers, co-counsel and clients on an array of substantive client matters. Will be responsible for assembling, reviewing, and analyzing documents as well as coordinating efforts between attorneys, clients, outside counsel, opposing counsel, other parties and outside vendors. Act as a liaison between judges’ chambers, court personnel, outside counsel, clients, and other parties via telephone, mail and email. Will perform Pacer searches and reviewing and downloading court dockets and bankruptcy filings. In addition, will draft court documents (notices, orders, affidavits, proofs of claim, petitions, agenda letters), eFile court documents and prepare and organize materials for hearings, including binders, orders and supplemental documents. Will also help in organizing service and delivery of signature copies to chambers, as well as maintaining the department calendar.
