Senior Construction Claims Specialist
The candidate will with minimal direction handle complex General Liability claims for the Construction unit. This position will handle primarily New York Labor Law Construction Losses with detailed special handling. They will resolve claims according to Best Practices and within authority limits. Will regularly communicate with customers and brokers and may be dedicated to handle claims for specific accounts. Should have Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Liability Claims and Litigation area to include experience handling New York Labor Law claims
OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8+ years of experience in the Liability Claims and Litigation area to include experience handling New York Labor Law claims
OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 6+ years of experience in the Liability Claims Handling area to include experience handling New York Labor Law claims.
Must obtain and retain required adjuster license. Microsoft Office experience is required.
Should preferable have Juris Doctor. Should preferable have experience working in a collaborative team environment and across work groups.
