Work you'll do
This role supports Risk Mitigation and Compliance Enablement and Client Inquiries of the Technology Risk & Compliance team which includes risk management, audits, and assessments for on prem as well as cloud hosted IT applications and infrastructure. This position is specifically responsible for understanding and assessing technology and operational risks related to internal and cloud technology solutions and at times, asked to provide input to DT - US personnel on appropriate controls to address those risks. This role will work closely with Client Inquiries team members, stakeholders, and consultants to determine the needs, support users, and expand the adoption of the tool. This role may provide work leadership to other employees, as necessary. In addition, this manager may also oversee/perform risk assessments and deep dive controls testing. The manager will challenge risk assessment results and consult with teams for risk remediation, reporting and escalation, as needed. The position will also work with external and internal auditors, serving as liaison between DT - US and non- DT - US auditees, gathering and presenting evidence as required.
In this role, you will:
Clearly understand the on prem and cloud technology and operational risk to the Information Technology Services organization as well as related policies, laws, regulations, and industry standards, specifically as related to internal and cloud technology solutions
Manages configuration and implementation of new applications and plugins within the ServiceNow platform and other tools
Manages design, build, and implementation of workflows, assessments, and integrations & reports/dashboards
Oversees development of training material and delivers training to users
Manages triage and troubleshooting of issues identified by users and stakeholders
Manages technology risk assessments and deep dive controls testing, reports on findings, tracks status, aggregates results, and reports to Management.
Provide notification of updated controls requirements to technology functions due to regulatory and firm policy updates.
Lead and execute tasks and strategies associated with client security assurance inquiries such as reviewing security contracts, responding to security questionnaires, audits, and assessments for on prem as well as cloud hosted IT applications and infrastructure as required via client contracts, regulatory obligations, and operational objectives
Independently design, recommend, plan, develop and support implementation of project-specific security solutions to meet requirements for on prem as well as cloud hosted IT applications and infrastructure
Recommend policies, standards, procedures, and controls to assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information technology environment for on prem as well as cloud hosted IT applications and infrastructure
Ensure that identified risks are managed in accordance with the Risk Management program for on prem as well as cloud hosted IT applications and infrastructure
Manages remediation of identified risks and vulnerabilities; identify those within the organization responsible for remediation tasks and negotiate dates for remediation to be complete; track progress on remediation of identified risks and vulnerabilities and provide appropriate reporting to all constituents
Represent Information Technology related to internal and external assessments and/or audits of information technology systems and processes, interpret results, and develop and communication recommendations to management
Work with the appropriate Information Security, Office of General Counsel, Risk Management, and engagement leaders to determine scope of onsite visits, audits, and assessments as defined by contracts and regulatory requirements
Develop and recommend appropriate information security policies, standards, procedures, checklists, and guidelines using generally recognized security concepts tailored to meet the requirements of the organization for on prem as well as cloud hosted IT applications and infrastructure
Develop risk/vulnerability assessment programs and questionnaires to aid in the identification and mitigation of security risks
Identify and document specific security issues, propose resolution options, and interpret matters from the perspective of involved stakeholders
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications
Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity and IT governance/risk management experience in large scale organizations
Minimum 3 years of experience with computer networks and security architecture/controls, such as encryption and key management
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Systems with a focus in Cyber Security or related field
Negotiation skills and sound judgement to define best solution for multiple business leaders with varying interests
Ability to frame and communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various levels
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Security and Compliance and Regulatory Requirements (SOC 2, ISO27001, NIST800-53, PCAOB, CSA, etc.) and / or management of Risk Management programs / Risk Assessments
Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CCISO, GIAC, CISA, or CISM
Proven knowledge and experience across multiple information protection and security domains
Experience with policy and standards, data analytics, and change management/adoption
Consulting skills (client service orientation, conflict resolution, analysis/synthesis of information, negotiation, project management, etc.)
Excellent communication, listening, and facilitation skills
Excellent time managementand related organizational skills, including appropriate sense of urgency, a proactive approach, and a suitable ability to anticipate and manage project lifecycle events, issues, and obstacles
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $191,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
