Nurse Case Manager
The candidate will be responsible for helping to ensure injured parties receive appropriate injury-related treatment and assisting our case managers with managing medical treatment to an appropriate resolution. Contributes specialized knowledge to ensure clients receive needed medical care to help ensure the best possible outcome for clients. Responsible for medical management of personal injury cases. Meet (virtually) with new clients to obtain medical history. Conduct periodic case reviews and file audits to ensure client medical needs are being met. Coordinate with medical providers to ensure the injured employee is actively participating in a viable treatment plan. Assist clients with coordinating medical care with multiple doctors and clinics, schedule doctor appointments and making physical referrals as needed. Serve as a resource to case management team regarding the medical aspect of cases; explain medical terminology, diagnoses, and treatment plans, as needed. Work collaboratively with attorneys, case management team, and other staff. Remote work is available after training.
