The Quality Compliance Professional Committee Consultant maintains / assists, coordinates/leads, monitors, reports on contractually required committees with establishing & maintaining relationships with committee members in the Illinois MMP market, in collaboration with the senior consultant,
The Quality Compliance Professional Committee Consultant work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Compliance to Accreditation, State and Federal Regulations:
Maintains / assists committees in accordance with State and CMS contractual obligations
Maintains / assists committee meetings in collaboration with senior consultant
Assists as needed with required audits
Assists as needed with survey preparation
Assists with committee preparation and committee minutes
Assists with quarterly /annual CMS/State required documents
Establishes /maintains partnership with key leaders vested in care of Duals/Medicaid members and their caregivers where applicable
Facilitation and Committee Oversight:
In collaboration with senior consultant, coordinates/leads committee meetings, as needed to obtain committee members' viewpoints using principles of qualitative research.
Assists with planning of topics and questions for discussion based on business strategy and contractual obligations
Skillfully and respectfully conducts meetings, as needed
Establishes and maintains a trusting, caring, and supportive environment for group discussion
Reports and Analysis:
In collaboration with senior consultant, assists with preparation of quarterly/annual reports in coordination with CMS and State contractual obligations
Special Projects :
Participates in work groups/lean projects/task forces which may include but are not limited to analysis and improvement activities, community outreach and partnerships as assigned
Requirements
Health plan or managed care experience
College Degree and/or equivalent
Proficiency with computer skills & Microsoft Office: Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with stakeholders outside of Humana
Experience in leading meetings and keeping to agenda/timeframe
Desirables
Quality Improvement Management experience
Knowledge of the geography of the state of Illinois
Additional Information
