Requirements
B.S. in Computer or Information Science or a related field
Minimum 7 years software development experience or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in Microsoft Visual Studio .Net (2005 or higher) and 3 years' experience in MS SQL Server or equivalent; OR 3 years' experience in Microsoft Visual Studio .Net and 5 years' experience in MS SQL Server;
Experience with database design
Experience with complex technical projects
Skills Inventory
Required:
Demonstrated knowledge of SQL Server database design and advanced query techniques (eg, stored procedures, triggers, user defined scalar- and table-valued functions, etc.); MS SQL Server 2008 strongly preferred;
Ability to develop web applications using VB or C#, ASP.NET, .Net Framework, CSS, Ajax, JQuery, JavaScript, IIS 6.0 or higher, etc.
Ability to manage concurrent projects while meeting project deadlines;
Detail oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team;
Superior skills in providing project coding timeline estimates;
Demonstrated experience in Object-Oriented Programming and Development Life Cycle Methodologies;
Highly Desirable:
Knowledge of healthcare operations, terminology, and data structures (eg, HL-7);
Experience with SSIS and/or Reporting Services within MS SQL Server;
Exposure to information system applications in the practicing healthcare and financial environment; for example, Epic Ambulatory EMR and Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager;
Experience with iOS application development;
Exposure to and experience with MS SharePoint;
Experience developing mobile web applications and sites.
