The candidate will review and negotiate contracts, to provide legal advice and guidance to all levels of the organization, to develop policies and procedures on organizational and health law issues, and to support compliance and risk management needs. Oversee the work of other lawyers and staff in the department relating to specific projects and areas of responsibility assigned to the Deputy General Counsel. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law with a strong academic record. Should have 10+ years, and preferably 15+ years, of relevant legal experience in a hospital or health system or in a corporation or law firm with healthcare industry and regulatory experience.
