Duties:

• Draft and argue appellate briefs in state and federal courts

• Analyze trial records, identify appealable issues, and formulate strategic legal arguments

• Provide litigation support at the trial level, including dispositive motion practice and preserving appellate issues

• Collaborate with trial attorneys and clients on litigation strategies

• Participate in oral arguments before appellate courts

• Stay current with appellate procedure and relevant legal developments

• Contribute to a positive team environment and support junior attorneys when appropriate

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in appellate or general liability litigation

• Demonstrated record of professional reliability and strong references

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills

• Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California Bar membership required

• Deep understanding of appellate procedure and civil litigation practices
