Senior Associate, Business Incentives Group (BIG)

The candidate will execute project tasks to identify, document, and support on exam R&D tax credits and incentives. Gather client information and documentation to identify qualified costs and expenses and calculate the R&D benefits efficiently and effectively. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance is required. Juris Doctorate or MBA is preferred. Should have 3+ years of prior experience. Prior experience performing services related to R&D tax credits is preferred. Prior experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement basis is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of appropriate application of tax standards to ensure effective and efficient delivery of tax services is required. Intermediate knowledge of sources of relevant information utilized in tax filings is required. Understanding and recognition of the economics of underlying transactions and book to tax differences in preparation of tax returns is required. CPA certification is preferred.
