Description

The Senior Security Architect determines security architecture requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements. The Senior Security Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Domain Security Architect goal is to ensure that Humana has a high level of governance over security technologies that are run outside of EIP. The architect will work closely with the IT teams, policy teams, auditors and other key stakeholders to ensure that changes to technology are implemented correctly and are following EIP policies.

Key tasks include:

Intake requests for product changes/policy changes and align with Humana policy and technical implementation.

Ensure EIP policy is aligned to technology usage.

Ensure technology is aligned to EIP policy.

Review exception requests for policies related to assigned technologies. (i.e CRC requests)

Ensure deployment coverage and full suite of capabilities for all assigned technology (i.e. version updatedness, coverage, logging and effectiveness)

Liaison between vendor and technology team to ensure that Humana is aware of roadmap and influencing roadmap.

Maintain Humana roadmap for assigned technologies.

Ensure that any investment budget is managed for new technology usage.

Develop configuration standard for technologies.

Collaboration between all EIP teams to ensure technology is meeting requirements (i.e. CSOC).

Maintain policy source policies for all assigned technologies.

The ideal candidate can work on a team of teams to communicate a clear vision for controls and ensure they are properly implemented. The candidate must be able to think more broadly than a single technology and reach across the portfolio of technologies to implement desired control state and defense in depth posture. The candidate must be an analytical thinker and have working knowledge of key Cyber Security capabilities. A passion for optimizing technology will also ensure success in this role.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5 years of technical cyber security experience

Experience integrating Cyber Security technologies with existing technologies

Experience implementing Cyber Security technologies with enterprise-wide impact

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in a Technical Field

CISSP or CEH certification
