Legal Counsel

The candidate will be providing legal guidance and counseling to business and functional teams in the LATAM market. Will report to the General Counsel and will work closely with two other legal counsels and the LATAM operation to help them with their expansion plans. Main responsibilities will be reviewing, drafting and negotiating of customer contracts that are being performed through Indecomm’s LATAM delivery centers and ensuring legal/regulatory compliance by local compliance officers in the LATAM countries. Will be expected to be able to understand and explain LATAM legal requirements, customer contracts in Spanish and other legal documents in Spanish. In addition, could work on a variety of commercial/corporate contracts and legal matters, such as leases, M&A transactions, financing transactions and other general corporate matters. Should have A law degree from a university in Costa Rica, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, or Colombia. Should have 2 years relevant working experience, gained as a lawyer and/or in-house counsel in the services industry, in any of the countries listed above. Should be Fluent knowledge in written and verbal Spanish and English – ability to read and translate legal documents in both languages. An LLM degree in the US from a top law school. 1+ years of experience in the US at a law firm or in-house (preferably in the services industry).
