Proposal Manager, Energy Sector

The candidate will manage and drive the preparation of proposals. Coordinate input and gather insights from multiple sources, including pricing, legal professionals, legal project management, and competitive intelligence. Develop and manage relationships and work collaboratively with practice areas, sectors, and business development teams. Provide project management support and information resources in order that strategic and panel responses are completed in an efficient, consistent and professional manner. Write, edit, and manage up-to-date practice and experience descriptions and copy. Support the auditing of existing materials to evaluate strategy and create new copy and approaches, as appropriate. Update and maintain the opportunities module tracking system and assist in the creation of leadership reports. Prepare placemats and client presentations, as requested. Bachelor’s degree is required. Should have 5+ years of experience working in a proposals function, preferably in a law firm. Strong research and writing skills, as well as superior proofreading skills and attention to detail is needed. Should be self-starter who can work on own initiative and is proactive in developing solutions. Should have the ability to liaise confidently and build relationships with people at all levels. Should have the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. Excellent project management and organizational skills and ability to manage workload is needed.
