The candidate will be providing assistance to attorneys, paralegals, and other administrative personnel, typing and editing documents including correspondence, memoranda, bills, time sheets and project work from handwritten or typed materials, proofreading work for accuracy, format, grammar, punctuation and syntax; receiving, screening and transmitting telephone calls, conference calls and messages to/from attorneys and clients, processing incoming/outgoing mail, preparing and processing new client/matter reports, time sheets, and expense reports, scheduling and coordinating conferences, meetings, and appointments, coordinating travel arrangements including securing air and ground transportation and hotel accommodations, managing work flow, maintaining filing, providing assistance to visitors, summer associates, and attorneys whose secretaries are absent and accepting overflow work from other secretaries. High school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Specialized secretarial degree, Associate, and/or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Should preferably have 4-10 years of recent corporate/transactional legal secretary experience.
