This position will focus on personal injury law, with duties ranging from trial preparation to client representation in civil legal proceedings.

Duties

• Provide legal support and guidance to personal injury clients.
• Advise clients on the best course of action for their cases.
• Meet with clients to understand their legal needs and develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining legal options and potential outcomes.
• Represent clients in civil legal proceedings and trial preparation.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including depositions, pleadings, and contracts, accurately and on time.
• Assist clients with executing legal agreements.
• Stay updated on current legislation and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and trust.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in personal injury law (preferred).
• 3 years of experience in litigation (required).
• Experience in answering discovery, trial, and mediation preparation.
• Knowledge of federal and state statutes, court rules, and legal procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida (Barred in Florida).

Skills

• Strong research, writing, and legal document preparation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and effectively represent them in court.
• Knowledge of personal injury law, litigation procedures, and trial preparation.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and evolving legal environment.
