Duties

• Provide comprehensive legal guidance during client consultations, evaluating case merits and challenges.
• Manage a robust caseload of litigation matters, maintaining regular communication with clients.
• Supervise and collaborate with support staff, including paralegals and legal assistants.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related paperwork.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
• Represent clients in court, demonstrating proficiency in trial procedures and courtroom advocacy in both County and Circuit Courts.
• Participate in regular meetings with the Managing Attorney and legal team for case reviews and updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing litigation cases, preferably in real estate and commercial litigation.
• Proficiency in handling cases from initiation to resolution, including court representation.
• Strong ability to interact with clients and provide clear, actionable legal advice.
• Experience in supervising support staff to ensure effective task delegation and case management.
• Ability to meet established monthly performance goals without reliance on billable hour quotas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership and good standing with the Florida State Bar.

Skills

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and courtroom presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Adept in legal research tools and software.
