Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will provide legal representation to clients in various litigation matters. They will conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and collaborate with other attorneys to develop case strategies.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on case-related matters.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts as necessary.
• Assist senior attorneys in case management and strategy development.
• Attend and participate in depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong attention to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Strong academic achievement from an accredited law school.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
