Description

This Data Visualization Engineer will combine pharmacy claims data, clinical measure data, and general Humana Medicare membership data to create and manage a suite of dashboards and tools to support the Patient Safety team's efforts to positively affect member outcomes in defined clinical measure spaces.

Responsibilities

This role will be part of a team that supports clinicians around impacting member outcomes to the CMS Stars Part D measures. This include specifications like adherence to needed medications or addition of drugs relative to current health status.

In this role the Data Visualization Engineer will need to become very familiar with input data, like RX claims and Medicare enrollment, as well as technical specifications around how measure successes are defined from organizations like the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA).

This role will then work closely with data analysts that are producing measure/member defined data assets, measure year forecasts, and headwind/tailwind deep dive analytics.

From this collaboration the Data Visualization Engineer will create and maintain dashboards that outline current performance in time series, compare impact year over year, show forecasted outcomes, indicate member level performance, outline cohort contributions, etc. These dashboards will be consumed at many levels of the enterprise to indicate impacts and outcomes across measure spaces.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

1 - 3 years of data visualization experience

Experience with Power BI for dashboard development

Ability to convey complex outcomes through concise data driven tools

Strong attention to detail

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications

Excellent written and verbal communication

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Degree

Preferred technologies such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, or similar tools
