The Market Strategy, Insights, Planning Lead will partner with the business segment to maximize business impact using a mix of customer insight, market conditions, business goals, and product value. This role will also provide strategic planning support for marketing, sales, and operations to build marketing plans to deliver business goals
Responsibilities
Provide strategic counsel to field marketing team anchored in data and customer insight.
Collaborate with Analytics and Finance teams to measure the success of the market level strategy through data for executive-level review.
Be a conduit to cross-functional teams for sharing insight, and delivering feedback to sales, operations, and marketing teams
Deeply understand and evangelize market insights inclusive of competitive understanding in the market and emerging trends to form action-able defensive and offensive marketing recommendations
Partner across the Corporate Marketing and Marketing Analytics to define core set of KPIs and measurement to fully assess marketing performance
Manage budget allocations and planning by market based on strategic priorities in close partnership with the business teams.
Role Essentials
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other
7 years of work experience in marketing strategy, consulting, and sales operations
Success in this role demands a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature.
Advanced experience working with complex data sets to uncover insights.
Can deliver high-quality work while managing multiple projects.
Can maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments.
Can interact with executives with confidence, and articulate business dynamics that reflect an understanding of their function.
Have excellent written and oral communication with visual presentation skills.
Experience navigating analytics platforms with demonstrated spreadsheet-based planning and modeling expertise.
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and a minimum internet connection speed of 10M x 1M
This role will require occasional overnight travel
