Supply Chain Compliance Analyst','093939','USA-Utah-Salt Lake City','','!*!This position is responsible to evaluate purchase orders for compliance to FAR, DFARS, and company policies and procedures. This position supports the purchasing organizations, offering recommendations, guidance, and training on government regulations and the affect of the regulations on process and strategy. Responsibilities also include supporting audits by the DCAA, DCMA, customers, and internal audit organizations; assisting in creating a compliance purchase order file; updating company procedures to maintain compliance with government requirements.
A qualified applicant will be able to:
Review purchase orders with values that exceed the audit threshold for file compliance and adequacy and provide feedback to the procurement staff.
Note recurring deficiencies in purchase order files and develop and present training to address those deficiencies.
Review updates to FAR & DFARS and analyze impacts to CSW procedure and processes.
Update CSW procedures and processes as necessary to remain in compliance and provide training on new procedures to procurement staff.
Support audits of CSW's procurement system and processes by customers and government agencies, etc.
Assist procurement staff in award, performance, and closeout of flexibly priced purchase orders.
Participate in contract closeout processes.
Coordinate with the Contracts organization to obtain mandatory flow-down clauses for new contracts.
Develop and implement supplementary terms and conditions when necessary to meet customer flow down requirements.
Work with procurement staff, suppliers, and legal counsel to negotiate exceptions to terms and conditions when necessary.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant training and/or experience.
2 - 4 years related work experience.
Knowledge of government procurement requirements specified in FAR/DFARS.
Auditing contract files for compliance and adequacy.
Evaluating and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide mentoring and training on compliance issues.
Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.
