Senior Contracts Manager

The candidate will implement Prime contract strategies consistent with LM Space and Line of Business (LOB) strategic imperatives. Provide highly visible leadership to the mission area personnel to ensure the team develops flexible strategies to support the needs of the mission area, LOB and Space. The candidate will develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure positive and constructive interactions both internally and externally. The candidate will act as an advocate for diversity and inclusion and create opportunities for positive employee engagement. The candidate will manage and provide leadership for activities associated with contract responsibilities including but not limited to: preparation and contract negotiations; assessment of terms and conditions to ensure the corporation is protected from unusual risk and sustains or improves the mission area long-range plan. The candidate will have to work cross-functionally with different stakeholders in the organization, including, engineering, legal, procurement, finance, tax, and accounting to ensure projects and deal meet program and corporate command media. Must have 10+ years of US Government customer interface with prime or sub-experience across large multi-million and billion-dollar programs and 8+ years of leadership of prime or subcontracts organizations with oversight of 8-15 employees, 10+ years of experience with FAR/DFAR and/or intelligence community policies, 10+ years of contracts management, subcontract management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department, Master's degree, Juris Doctor, Paralegal certification or NCMA certification is preffered. Ideal Candidate will have prior (ic) intelligence community experience.
