Aon Is Looking For a Senior Property BrokerAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Property Group within Aon Risk Solutions, in Chicago. As a Senior Broker, you will report directly to the Team Leader.Your Impact As a Senior BrokerJob Responsibilities:Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Property insurance marketplace, products and services, with strong business relationships with key insurance underwritersLead the strategy and design of for large and/or heavily catastrophic exposed accounts, including single placement, layered and global accountsResponsible for all aspects of client service for assigned book of business including, billing, policy collection, review and transmittal in accordance with established departmental service standards with support from Associate BrokersRetain and grow assigned clients/prospectsFacilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with appropriate external clientcontacts and internal Aon clientsProvide broking status and continuous support and service to clients during entire broking process and entire period of engagement by client (this is a continuous process)Demonstrate ability with all elements of client presentations including technical writing and verbal presentation skills.Utilize effective negotiation skills.Drive utilization of all available technology throughout broking process and client service processUnderstand the causes of E&O and avoid and adopt practices to reduce exposureReplicate effective products/solutions and develop broking opportunitiesWork in conjunction with Brokers and Associate Brokers on various daily activities including underwriter and client interactionYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:7 years of Large Property insurance broking experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPointStrong negotiation skillsAbility to build relationshipsActive P&C LicenseEducation:Bachelor’s degree or work equivalentWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
