The Executive Associate performs a wide range of complex administrative duties in a fast-paced environment. As Executive Associate to, the Executive Director, WW Hematology Commercial Strategy & Forecasting team within BIA-ESA&CP, the position is expected to provide daily administrative and operational support including but not limited to: arrange meetings, manage travel and expenses, and coordinating/organizing communications.

Roles & Responsibilities

•Coordinating communications, meetings, and general administrative activities (i.e. calendar, T&E, travel, presentations, meeting setup and coordination, etc)

•Prioritize activities and taking action based on an understanding of leadership dynamics, department needs, and BMS business strategy

•Independently organizing multiple processes, procedures, or programs in support of business needs

•Facilitate multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and requests - taking initiative to adjust or change priorities as needed

•Building relationships easily with executives and business leaders outside the team

•Member of and partner to the BIA team and help facilitate ONE BIA Culture

•Is self-driven to deliver results, driving ideas into actions

•Is known for getting things done in simple and practical ways

•Garners a high level of trust

•Adapts to different styles and operates smoothly in a complex, global culture

•Puts patients, team , and company first

•Demonstrates integrity and an impeccable value system on a daily basis

•Comfortable delivering on tight deadlines

•Understanding of BMS systems and software including Concur, Ariba, Workday, Reserve and eSetup

Requirements

•Minimum 3 years experience as an executive associate, 7 years of administrative related experience preferred ​

•Minimum HS diploma, BS preferred

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Experience working with senior leadership (VP and above)

•Must be well organized and able to establish office systems and processes

•Successfully develop good relationships within the organization and beyond

•Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite tools and programs including but not limited to: complex Excel worksheets and Word documents, Powerpoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
