Health Care Attorney Position
The candidate' should have twelve plus years of experience heavily concentrated in health care law, specifically hospitals. Law firm experience is a prerequisite; some in-house experience is a plus. Qualified candidates must be self-starters with excellent academic credentials, effective communication skills, research and writing skills, a commitment to providing quality service to clients, and a keen attention to detail. An understanding of federal and state fraud and abuse and self-referral laws and other specialized health care issues is necessary. Strong organizational skills with proven delegation and follow through ability are required. Candidates actively licensed in Texas are preferred and ultimately required.
