Description
The Community Outreach Executive cultivates sales and engagement opportunities as well as awareness for Humana's Dual Medicaid-Medicare products, clinical programs and community services. The job requires collaboration across the organization, including sales, operations, network and bold goal as well as external partners such as physicians, faith-based organizations and community groups. The outreach executive will also work with and improve the lives of members most at risk.
Responsibilities
The Community Outreach Executive identifies and builds relationships with organizations and providers that serve the dual-eligible population. The position strategizes ways to scale these opportunities to reach members/prospects and drive connections to Humana and the plan's Dual Eligible-Special Needs Plans and services. The role organizes meetings and forums to engage the dual-eligible population to create lead generation and works with the sales team to help agents staff those events.
The Community Outreach Executive is also responsible for tracking their events as well as leads generated, brokers engaged, community organizations partnered with, and methods of engaging and helping the dual eligible population. The role will require strategic and independent thinking as to how to best allocate time to achieve optimal results. The executive provides supplies, materials and educational items, preparing any documents necessary, collaborating with and supporting sales leadership and other departments as necessary. The Community Outreach Executive further has analytical skills to identify growth areas to drive relationships, sales and retention. The individual will comply with all CMS guidelines and will find ways to engage with and improve the lives of members.
Required Qualifications
-Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
-Ability to establish relationships with internal and external partners
-Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office
-Independent and strategic thinking
-Experience with dual eligible population
-Will reside in the greater Detroit Area
-Must have ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time

-Bachelor's Degree
-Sales Experience
-Health and life insurance license
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
