Underwriting Counsel
Duties: The candidate will provide legal counsel, answers, and guidance to customers and internal departments on real estate closings and title insurance matters and determine the Company's willingness and ability to ensure within the parameters of those transactions. Create and deliver relevant educational topics at live seminars and webinars. Establish relationships with new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers. The ability to provide underwriting support in additional jurisdictions is a plus. Promote the ethical and professional practice of law while interacting with TRG’s team players, clients, litigants, members of the bar, members o the judiciary and their staff, and all others, while engaging in the practice of law on behalf of clients and TRG. Respond to time-sensitive requests from customers for guidance in closing real estate transactions and mitigating risk. Assist with audits as needed.
