Mid Level Associate, Insurance Coverage
The candidate will interact with clients while managing a busy case load. Draft pleadings, and discovery demands, perform legal research, answer complaints and draft dispositive motions. Conduct depositions, argue motions and attend court hearings and trials. Responsible for the day-to-day handling of litigated cases and assisting with oversight of several national client accounts. Draft coverage reports and reservation of rights letters. Should have 4 years of coverage litigation and commercial business experience. Should be organized, and efficient and have excellent research and writing skills. Ability to multitask, analyze complex issues, and communicate effectively. Must be willing to work independently and manage paralegals. Must be licensed to practice in Illinois. Being licensed in Indiana or Wisconsin would be helpful.
