\u003cp\u003eThe Senior FF\u0026amp;E Designer, provides essential design and/or technical support for the Interior Design Team and works closely with senior staff to shadow and develop design and deliverables for various projects. The Designer position will prepare, update and correct drawings, presentations, graphics; design; CAD design/drafting; furniture, fixture and accessory specifications; furnishing, color and material boards; model making; FF\u0026amp;A sourcing; resource organization; and general computer skills.\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cli\u003eAssist the department with sourcing and product research\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eRendered plans / section elevations\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eFreehand sketches\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eCAD documentation\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eFurniture, Fixtures \u0026amp; Accessories specifications\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eCoordinate with outside vendors\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eTrain and mentor the interns in the Interior Design Department\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eMaintain and update the drawing files\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssist with GC finishes, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, millwork details - specifications and organizing\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssist the department with the preparation of graphics and 3D renderings\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eMaintain and organize the design library\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssist the office with general clerical support\u003c/li\u003e

\u003cli\u003eB.S. or B.A. in Interior Design or Interior Architecture and 8-10 years related experience in designing small to mid-size interior projects including urban and resort hotels\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eA proficient level of experience in the use of AutoCad, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eHigh level of experience in graphic design concepts such as, hand sketch case work, vignette scenes, hand coloring, rendering interior drawings, area take offs and shop drawings\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eThe ability to assemble FF\u0026amp;E and finish boards with no supervision\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eA proficient level of experience in interior design concepts such as, space planning, furniture, fixtures, and product research\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eMust have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable in interfacing with clients, consultants, vendors and internal staff\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eMust be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds\u003c/li\u003e
