Paralegal - Corporate
The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Staff of the Corporate Legal Department. This position performs a wide variety of secretarial, administrative support, and legal research duties. This position also helps ensure the proper functioning of the department and enhances the productivity and effectiveness of a busy, professional environment. Prepare legal letters, documents and exhibits under direction of Corporate Counsel. Conduct legal and internet research. General office work. Maintain proper legal files. Photocopy. Process mail. Prepare electronic documents/filings. Answer multiple line phone system with good phone etiquette, transferring calls, and taking and deliver messages quickly and accurate. Monitor incoming and outgoing faxes and accurately route documents to department staff. Handle Inter-company mail. Use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Use of Prolaw. Maintain calendars and scheduling. Data entry and updating. Order supplies. Coordinate departmental documentation for management approval and signatures. Researching legal and other issues. Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or senior staff. Should have Associate's Degree in the Paralegal field. Past paralegal or legal secretary experience would be preferred. Assist in projects as required. Strong administrative and organizational skills is needed. Experience utilizing multi-line phone skills is needed. Strong knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook,and Power Point is needed.
