Radiology.  The Hope Center, a regional, Commission on Cancer approved

The Registered Nurse (RN)
performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse.  Performs the primary function of assessing,
planning and evaluating the care of all assigned patients, Infant through life
span in the Med/Surg Unit.  Responsible
for meeting the established policies/standards of practice for this facility.  Identifies nursing problems as they relate to
the individual needs of the patients - plans and carries out individualized
patient care.  Daily use of analytical
and decision-making skills. Promotes and maintains patient safety standards.
Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality
Improvement. Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with
patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers. Must smile and make eye
contact.  Promotes a supportive,
teamwork-oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the
long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of CMC. Responsible for maintaining a functional
personal telephone and providing Human Resources, Nursing Unit and department
Manager/Director with current number.

of an accredited School of Nursing with a current GA RN license. Basic
Healthcare Provider (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
required within 90 days of hire or promotion. 
ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire.  Previous 2 years of experience preferred. Must
have one year experience to qualify for PRN position.
