Best Buy’s Digital and Technology team is seeking Senior MS Dynamics Engineers. We are looking for professionals in this capacity who will act as functional and technical experts of Dynamics 365 CE.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent engineer and exceptional in the application development and project management aspects of the role with experience in a large enterprise, highly customized environment.

This role will lead efforts to deliver complex solutions, assist in creating a culture of high code quality, leading the team by providing strong consultative content – creation and presentation - in technical design sessions, as well as planning activities and contributing to strategic planning.

Other key responsibilities will include:

Lead sprint planning from a technical perspective

Scope and stage large projects into actionable and well-defined milestones.

Participate in the creation and presentation of technical designs

Anticipates technical issues at the product level and makes architectural and design decisions to avoid issues

Leads and effectively manages the triage of complex issues across systems in both production and locally

Demonstrates creativity and takes initiative in solving complex problems

Consistently delivers a high volume of story points relative to their team

Able to fill in holes in product direction and take appropriate action within their team

Plans delivery of coarse-grained business needs spanning multiple applications

Lift the team through contributing a variety of strategies/solutions and influence cross-functional technical peers

Demonstrate knowledge of industry trends and look for ways to apply those trends to products

Sets a consistent example of agile development practices and coaches other engineers to collaborate with Product and UX

Be an advisor and mentor to other junior resources and help them to level up and become more proficient

Minimum Requirements:

4 years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) with a bachelor’s degree; including experience with Dynamics CRM Online or 6 years of equivalent experience without a bachelor's degree

6 years of experience in IT software development

4 full-cycle CRM IT implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years’ experience in the retail industry, Field Service, or Call Center

2 years’ experience working with Microsoft SDK and/or Developers Toolkit

2 years’ experience in programming languages such as C#, VB.net, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript

2 years of Active Directory, IIS, DNS experience

1 year of experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, and Azure services

2 years’ experience in Windows 8, IOS, and other mobile applications development

2 years of creating engineering diagrams in Microsoft Visio or equivalent

Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word

2 years’ experience leading multiple large projects with advanced organizational skills

2 years of Project Management (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.) experience
