The candidate will support the adjusting team by assisting with data entry, customer service and collecting, tracking, and submitting documentation to insurance companies. Work as a liaison between the offices, insurance companies, and clients to ensure the best results. Assist with customer services by answering phones and greeting customers. Schedule appointments, inspections, and travel. Perform data entry. Process and review insurance documentation to ensure all documents are complete. Gain an in-depth and thorough understanding of P&C insurance and the claims industry. File and maintain confidential customer insurance files. Follow up with insurance companies. Process insurance claim checks with the mortgage companies. Take payments from customers and process through the software system. Maintain office supply inventory. Serve as a backup for other roles, as requested. Should have exceptional administrative skills including 2+ years of progressive work experience within the insurance industry or similar position. Strong computer skills are required.
