Contract Negotiator III
The candidate will draft, review and negotiate contracts for secured financing transactions for all business units and assist attorneys with various legal matters as needed. Will draft financing documents, including customized documents and special terms. Negotiate terms of financing documents, consulting attorneys as needed. Conduct a legal review of third-party contracts, consulting attorneys as needed. Respond to questions from Compliance-Risk Management Department. Review and approve loan closing packages for funding. Review UCC lien searches to determine the priority of security interest. Assist attorneys with general legal matters. Other duties as assigned. Should have 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's or equivalent. Must have experience with commercial transactions, including contract formation and negotiation, either in a law firm or corporate setting. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained. Paralegal degree or certificate preferred. Familiarity with contract drafting/legal terminology is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is needed.
