Director of Employee Relations
The candidate will oversee the policies, procedures, and programs of the school’s Employee Relations area developing and improving programs related to employee morale and satisfaction. Will oversee the development of programs focused on key employee relations initiatives with a focus on employee retention strategy, employee engagement, and HR compliance-related efforts. Manage HR investigations and other related matters for the school. Work and consult with various departments to proactively address concerns within the institution and build strategies that encourage better outcomes. Monitor departments and individuals following HR investigations to continue to provide feedback and strategy to maintain a safe work environment. Provide guidance and be engaged in advocacy for those individuals who may bring confidential matters or complaints to Human Resources for review. Leads and facilitates the employee relations program and related functions. Maintains, develops, recommends, and implements program objectives, policies, and procedures. Develops and pursues new goals and objectives for improvement in areas of employee relations. Communicates with employees regarding employee relations concerns; provides guidance and recommendations for resolution of issues. Assists managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing company policies related to performance, discipline, and related topics. Collaborates with Chief People Officer, Office of the General Counsel, Office of Compliance and Corporate Integrity, and Office Faculty Affairs and Development to investigate and resolve employee complaints. Manages the organization’s AAP plans. Maintains, develops, and recommends employee relations strategy to minimize risk to the school. Collaborates with the Office of Compliance and Corporate Integrity and OFAD to ensure policies, procedures and protocols are consistent and meet the firm standards of conduct and behavior. Engages with the Human Resources Business Partners, when necessary, on investigations and related matters. Evaluates and monitor compliance with HR SOPs to ensure adequate system controls are in place. Partners with the Human Resources Business Partners to assist managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing school policies related to performance, discipline, and other related topics. Maintains a liaison with the Office of Compliance and Corporate Integrity and the Office of General Counsel to manage requests for information, documentation, and other matters as needed. EEO Administrator overseeing the AAP development, implementation, and reporting. Performs other related duties as assigned.
