A law firm seeks an experienced property casualty litigator to join their team in Texas. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing practice, focusing on property casualty and 1st party property cases.

Duties

• Manage cases in state and federal courts.
• Supervise and mentor staff.
• Oversee discovery processes.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft petitions, complaints, motions, and briefs independently.
• Prepare for trial proceedings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in property casualty, 1st party property, or civil litigation.
• Admitted to practice in the State of Texas.
• Preference for candidates based in Houston.
• Experience in additional states is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
