The candidate will provide general advice and counsel on various commercial transactions. Will prepare, review, and negotiate contracts relating to vendors, consultants, sales, real estate, licensing, marketing, data privacy, and data security, among others. Partner with the business to identify and analyze potential risks and claims. Manage litigation matters. Manage the Company's intellectual property portfolio. Maintain corporate documents, as needed. Manage outside counsel in various matters and tasks. Manage a Legal Assistant/Contracts Manager and oversee that individual's administration of a Contracts Management System. Select, manage, develop, and hold accountable team members to meet department deliverables and responsibilities. Complete company people management requirements. Exhibit manager competencies. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business needs.
