This role is a key part of our Medicare portfolio selling efforts, expected to develop an external sales agent and agency training strategy to drive ancillary sales as well as Medicare products.

Fundamental Components:

Develop and execute a portfolio sales training effort to external and internal audiences, nationwide. Nationwide travel availability is a must and the ability to refresh/refine approaches to the strategy is necessary depending upon sales cycles, product offerings and product focus.


Superior knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and educational media.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

This position is a Full time Telework opportunity.

This role is a unique opportunity to develop, from the ground up, a portfolio sales strategy and enact it in an organization poised for significant growth. This is a new position, so the role would would require a comprehensive set of training, product and sales skills. The individual fit for this role would be very detail-oriented, have a great grasp of ancillary product lines and have experience training actual, real-world sales tactics (as opposed to mere product training) to the independent agent audience who would drive a greater share of Aetna products.
