Description

The Pharmacy Contracting Executive leads a team responsible for contracting pharmacies and managing Humana's hospice pharmacy network on behalf of Enclara Pharmacia. The Pharmacy Contracting Executive is responsible for managing pharmacy pricing and contracting, balancing the needs of Enclara's hospice members, hospice clients, and Humana's pharmacy network.

Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Contracting Executive ensures contract compliance and performs analysis regarding pharmacy claims and purchasing data to identify future contracting opportunities. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

2 or more years experience working with hospice claims in a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) setting

Strong financial acumen with proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data

Must have an understanding of drug pricing mechanics and methodologies

Experience interpreting and negotiating contracts with pharmacies

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior management

Process improvement experience

Able to give direction and make sound business decisions

Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
