Associate Attorney (Litigation)
The candidate will do court appearances on behalf of clients in courts throughout Central Indiana. Drafting pleadings and briefs, drafting, and responding to written discovery, and conducting depositions. Communicate with and provide regular litigation status updates to clients. Advise clients on all aspects of the litigation procedure, including settlement. Travel throughout the Indianapolis metro area is required. Work with multiple clients. Any other duties as necessary or required. Should have 4-6 years of experience. Must be licensed in Indiana and possess litigation experience. Mediation and arbitration experience preferred. Knowledge and experience of the Indiana Homeowners Association Act and/or the Indiana Condominium Act is preferred. Must have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Must be comfortable working independently yet be a team player. Strong knowledge of Indiana trial court rules and procedures is needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed. Should be able to manage a heavy and varied workload. Should be team player with ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task. Should be able to learn new skills effectively and efficiently. Should be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
