Manager of Attorney Engagement
The candidate will be responsible for the effective integration and orientation of new attorney hires. Will collaborate with Chief Talent Officer to manage special initiatives to drive attraction, engagement and retention of attorney talent (e.g., compensation programs). Develops strategies to collect attorney engagement data and insights and manage the execution of the engagement survey/assessment process. Collaborates with TM, HR and Finance colleagues to review key talent and productivity data and identify trends and opportunities. Leverages external networks to benchmark, knowledge share and identify actionable ideas. Identifies possible initiatives to improve engagement, performance and retention and partners with TM colleagues and Firm leaders to develop and execute solutions. Collaborates with Professional Development manager to plan and implement mentoring and coaching programs, as well as cohort-based development programs. Develop means to collect feedback on talent management initiatives, programs and processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Manage and/or partner with others, inside and outside of TM, on initiatives that are central to culture and engagement (e.g., Future of Work). Manages attorney exit process. Partners closely with TM colleagues to support talent initiatives across the function when needed. Develops and executes processes to complete arrangement letters for partners and counsel annually. Oversee TM budgets and expenses.
