Value-Based Strategies - CMS Programs Data Analytics and Reporting Lead will support Humana through successful participation in CMS/CMMI Multi-Payor and Accountable Care Initiatives.

Immediately leveraging a successful Medicare Advantage framework and robust provider relationships, this role will support Humana in assuming financial risk for Original Medicare beneficiaries through participation in CMS' Direct Contracting Initiative.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of participating and leading the work of an organization participating in CMS/CMMI accountable care initiatives including CMS Primary Cares First and Direct Contracting Models. These models are part of CMMI's evolution from fee-for-service to value-based care and are the next iteration of models learning from former and existing accountable care CMS/CMMI initiatives including the Next Generation ACO Model (NGACO), Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP), and Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC ).

The CMS Programs Analytics and Reporting Lead will be responsible to evaluate, interpret, and communicate all DCE data collection, analysis, and reporting needs for successful participation within CMMI Accountable Care Initiatives including Direct Contracting. Additionally, role will be responsible for development of data analytics and reporting strategy and leading the execution of this strategy. Will work closely with other DCE team leaders acting as the data analytics and reporting subject matter expert and manager. Will serve as the DCE data analytics, reporting, and IT expert across Humana IT, EDW, analytics, and population health platform teams in support of DCE success. Responsible as the DCE for all aspects of program reporting to CMS, DCE management, and providers.

Responsibilities include development of DCE analysis and reporting capabilities to be applied to all DCE business needs. Review and analyze data through statistical analysis, data mining, and other analysis techniques and provide results and recommendations to management. Develop and implement innovative predictive modeling databases to optimize efficiency and quality. Utilize data analysis tools, such as SAS and database language tools like SQL. Develop, implement, and run queries and stored procedures. Export and transform data from EDW for DCE business needs. Create data visualizations to translate data into meaningful views.

The CMS Programs Analytics and Reporting Lead will report directly to the Director of Value-Based Strategies - CMS Programs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

3 years in healthcare data analysis and reporting

Ability to excel in a fast-paced, start-up type environment

Experience leading evaluation of needs and development of strategy to achieve goals

Experience in SAS

Experience in SQL

Experience and proficiency in Tableau

Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and Word

Excellent data visualization skills

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

25% travel

Preferences

Master's Degree preferred

Experience with CMS/CMMI ACO Models including NGACO, MSSP, or CPC Experience with MAO Value-Based Care models
