The historic Arizona Biltmore is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our newly renovated bars, Spire and Wright's ! This luxurious resort reopened 2021
Located in the heart of uptown Phoenix since 1929, this gorgeous 39-acre property has 707 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets. This includes 2 restaurants, 2 pools, 2 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.
In this role, you will assist in overseeing operations at the two (2) bars managing a team of 20-25 and reporting directly to the Senior Food & Beverage Manager. You may assist in other food and beverage departments, as needed.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic leader who fosters a positive and supportive culture with a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences, a talent for inspiring and developing others, and the ability to manage a team to uphold luxury standards and deliver consistency in a high-volume environment. At least two (2) years of food and beverage leadership experience within an upscale environment and strong beverage background is required. Prior luxury hotel experience is a plus.
As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. This includes, but is not limited to:
Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
