Chief Program Officer
Duties: Provide Senior Executive administration to agency programs and related administrative areas Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. Assist the Chief Operating Officer with all aspects of agency performance. Provide inspired leadership to develop and nurture a dynamic organizational culture that embraces growth, a team approach, and creative thinking. Assume executive leadership role in achieving the highest possible standards while developing and carrying out the agency’s mission, goals, and objectives. Keep the Chief Operating Officer informed of all major issues and concerns. Oversee Executive-level and Senior-program staff and provide support in all elements of program and related administrative areas. Assure program and agency compliance with local, State and Federal regulatory agencies. Direct staff in the development and monitoring of program budgets. Assure adherence to all internal compliance standards (CQI, HR, Fiscal). Direct and expand IT initiatives for managed care readiness. Evaluate and prepare programs for managed care activities. Prepare monthly program reports indicating key areas of program and staff functioning. Direct and assist Program staff in after-hour emergencies. Represent programs at local and state meetings/conferences. Work with COO in developing and expanding program initiatives. Work with COO in agency Development activities. Assume leadership and responsibility for programs in the absence of the Chief Operating Officer. Provide on-going development and supervision to direct reports, focusing on accountability. Monitor program strategic planning goals. Participate in the Board of Directors meeting. Work cross collaboratively with other members of the Executive Management team to make sure that all programs work seamlessly to provide a strong vision for the agency. Support all functions that attain and maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies. Provide leadership in developing and overseeing all organizational policies and procedures. Assume such other duties appropriate to the position as may be assigned.
