Manager Position supports the Walmart Frozen Director and Customer Development Manager’s efforts to improve customer planning, sales execution and financial results on the Frozen Team, through insightful and prescriptive analysis of available resources including Retail Link, Nielsen syndicated data, shopper marketing data and industry studies. Provides analytical support for multiple sales related activities:
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Recommended experience: 5 years of relevant experience with: Walmart Retail Link; Syndicated data, IRI, POS, panel data.
Category or Customer Management experience within the CPG industry is a plus
Computer Skills: Sales planning tools software; High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office software.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated, dependable contributor with excellent time management skills.
Travel: 3 plus trips per year.
CIM capabilities/output:
Leverage syndicated data to proactively conduct market assessments and develop regional category recommendations with regard to assortment, pricing, and merchandising
Develop and publish weekly reports to internal distribution lists as well as external (as needed)
Utilize data, insights and reporting to be recognized as a category expert for the sales team
Develop weekly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for POS / shipments, by item, and track performance and latest projections for the year
Ownership of APEX planning including pricing and forecast inputs
Utilize information to assist with building Tyson annual plan (AOP) assumptions
Contribute to weekly calls and collaboration with team, business units, supply chain, and customer marketing to track plan performance and communicate changes to the plan
Conduct deep analytics on distribution and new item launches and partner with the BU and team on key insights
Utilize data to collaborate in creating strong selling stories throughout the line review process
Develop and publish adhoc business trackers / reporting (i.e. pricing analysis)
Direct all activities with the customer related to optimal promotional planning
Based on trade analytics and market assessment, recommend trade efficiency opportunities and regional pricing initiatives to Customer Development Managers
Assist with Walmart JBP planning files to be used in monthly and quarterly updates to Walmart
Surface bottoms-up sales opportunities using syndicated or WM retail link data
Manage SAS Monthly meetings
Timeliness and Accuracy of reporting should be a given
This position also works very closely in a matrix organization with many different functions of the organization including, Supply Chain, Customer Team, Demand Planning, Business Units, Shopper and the Customer.
