Responsible for understanding, upholding and promoting CSG’s Critical Success Factors, 1) Safety First!; 2) Financial Success (including operational excellence); 3) Employee Satisfaction (including development and training), and 4) Customer Satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be providing administrative support in functional areas of human resources including, but not limited to; benefits administration and recordkeeping, recruitment and employment related activities, employee relations, compiling and filing of federally mandated reporting, maintenance of company’s HRIS system within standards set forth by the company and in accordance with retention schedules. This position performs human resources functions for multiple operating companies.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Assist the HR function by providing administrative and technical support – assist in the updating, revising and development of current and future programs.

2. Assist the HR staff with daily administration of corporate, legal and regulatory reporting requirements.

3. Assist with the onboarding process including, but not limited to; orientation and training of new employees – process forms, answer basic policy and benefit questions, and ensure programs and processes are up-to-date and compliant.

4. Assist with or complete employment verifications, MVRs and other requests requiring employment verification per established processes and procedures.

5. Assist in the development, administration, communication, and interpretation of policies that relate to the human resources function including, but not limited to, harassment and violence in the workplace, benefits, employment, and paid time off.

6. Assist with or complete tracking of vaccination status and/or testing as required by applicable law and/or customer requirements.

7. Support benefit administration by assisting with HCR testing, distribution of SPDs and SMMs, and open enrollment activities such as open enrollment meetings, form collection and review, and scanning into the HRIS system.

8. Assist with the FMLA process including, but not limited to, providing appropriate request forms, tracking and administration.

9. Maintain HR documentation in HRIS system including, but not limited to, processing and scanning pertinent documents.

10. Assist with recruitment process including, but not limited to, attending job fairs, posting jobs internally and externally, applicant tracking and following process through closeout of requisition.

11. Conduct pre-employment screening interviews and reference checks as needed.

12. Track and follow-up on company required trainings.

13. Assist with compiling federal reports including, but not limited to, Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1, EEO Surveys, VETs 100, along with other compliance or requests for employment information.

14. Assist with updating employee handbooks and job descriptions.

15. Some travel may be required.

16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Background check, credit check and drug screen required.

Minimum Qualifications:


• Four-year degree in business administration or human resources management or equivalent work experience

• Two to four years of experience in a human resources role.

• Must exercise initiative, judgment and confidence as well as exhibit a strong desire to acquire knowledge of company practices, policies, and procedures.

Bonus Points!

• Strong candidates will have SHRM or HRCI certification (preferred but not required)

• Knowledge of office procedures

• Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
